Triple C - Antibiotic for Ornamental Birds

Description: Triple C Antibiotic Powder is effective against bacterial infections in ornamental birds. It's recommended as a first-line antibiotic for cases where the specific bacterial group is unknown or multiple bacterial groups are suspected.

Directions for Use:

• Restraints: Not to be used on birds intended for human consumption.
• Dosage and Administration:
  • Parrots: 5.0g per liter of water (1 teaspoon per quart)
  • Finch/Pigeon: 2.5g per liter of water (1/2 teaspoon per quart)
  • All ornamental birds:
    • 5.0g per kilogram of dry food (1/2 oz per 6 lbs)
    • 10g per kilogram of hand-rearing food (1 oz per 6 lbs)
• Administration:
  • Remove all sources of unmedicated water and prepare fresh solutions daily.
  • Remove sources of grit and calcium during treatment.
  • Supply medicated water for 5-7 days (up to 45 days for Psittacosis) in glass, glazed, or plastic containers.

Storage: Store in a dry area below 30°C.

After completing the treatment with Triple C, it's essential to re-establish the birds' gut flora using a product like Synbiotic.
