Description: Psittacus Omega Formula is designed for medium and large-sized psittacine birds, especially during stages with increased nutritional needs, such as young parrots or those with nutritional deficiencies. This highly palatable formula is also suitable for birds that require a high intake of Omega fatty acids, but should be used with caution in species prone to weight gain.

• Target Species: Medium and large-sized psittacine birds, such as Ara, Psittacus, and Poicephalus. Restrict intake for species prone to weight gain like Amazona, Cacatua, Psittacula, and Eclectus.
• Nutritional Value: Extruded formula with high nutritional value, focusing on Omega 6 and Omega 3 fatty acids.
• Complete Diet: Can be offered as the sole diet but should make up 70-80% of the total intake, with fresh fruits and vegetables added for variety. For Eclectus parrots, which need more sweet fruit, adjust the diet accordingly.
• Daily Intake: Typically 5% to 10% of the bird’s body weight. Medium-sized species like the African Grey parrot consume between 25 and 45 g per day.
