Description: Parrot B-Calm is a specially formulated complete diet designed to support the management of stress and anxiety in companion parrots. Developed by avian veterinarians, this diet provides balanced nutrition and features natural ingredients that help reduce anxiety while maintaining overall health and wellbeing.

Key Features:

  • Stress and Anxiety Management: Contains L-Tryptophan, a natural precursor for serotonin production, which may help manage stress and anxiety without causing drowsiness or sedation.
  • Complete Diet: Provides balanced nutrition to fulfill all core dietary requirements, making it suitable for daily feeding.
  • Non-Sedative Action: Safe for long-term use, as it doesn’t induce drowsiness or sedation.
  • Veterinary Formulated: Specifically designed for birds prone to anxiety.

Feeding Directions:

  • Diet Composition: Parrot B-Calm should make up 80% of the bird’s total diet, with the remaining 20% comprising fresh fruits and vegetables to ensure variety and enrichment.
  • Daily Intake: Ensure fresh water is always available. The following are minimum pellet requirements based on bird weight:
    • 90g Cockatiel: Minimum 9g of pellets per day
    • 150g Sun Conure: Minimum 15g of pellets per day
    • 300g Galah: Minimum 30g of pellets per day

  • L-Tryptophan: 0.5%
  • Vitamins: A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, C, D3, E, H, K, choline
  • Minerals: Calcium, cobalt, copper, iron, iodine, manganese, zinc
  • Amino Acids
  • Vegetable Oils and Organic Acids
  • Turmeric
  • Blueberry Flavour

Storage:

  • Store in a dry area below 30°C.
  • Shelf Life: 2 years from the date of manufacture.

Additional Notes:

  • Symptoms of Avian Anxiety and Stress: May include changes in vocalization, feather-destructive behavior, aggression, pacing, head swinging, shaking, decreased appetite, and hiding. Consider environmental factors and potential stress triggers in addition to feeding Parrot B-Calm.
