Feeding Instructions

Provide Kaytee Exact Rainbow daily in a clean food bowl.

• Feed according to the recommended daily portion.

• Adjust quantities based on the bird's individual needs.

• Provide fresh, clean drinking water daily.

• Limit additional foods, including fresh fruits, vegetables, and treats, to 20% of the total diet.

• When fed as directed, additional vitamin or mineral supplements are not recommended.

Transitioning to Kaytee Exact Rainbow

When switching from a seed-based or different pellet diet, introduce Kaytee Exact Rainbow gradually.

Birds may require time to become familiar with the new food.

Recommended Transition Process

1. Begin by mixing a small quantity of Exact Rainbow with the bird's existing food.

2. Gradually increase the proportion of Exact Rainbow while reducing the previous diet.

3. Continue the transition over approximately 21 days, depending on your bird's acceptance.

4. Monitor food intake and droppings throughout the transition.

After approximately 21 days, the bird should be accustomed to Exact Rainbow, although some birds may require additional time.
