Feeding Instructions:

1. Preparation: Mix the formula with hot water (48°C/120°F) for young chicks, aiming for a mixture with 30% solids initially. Increase the solids content to 40% as the chicks grow.
2. Temperature: Ensure the mixture is cooled to a safe temperature (38°C/100°F to 40°C/104°F) to avoid crop burns. The consistency should resemble applesauce or be slightly thinner.
3. Feeding Method: Use a teaspoon or specially designed feeding tool, touching the beak or corners of the mouth to stimulate feeding. This technique should be learned by the chicks within a few days.
4. Feeding Frequency: Feed young chicks every 3-4 hours during the day. Reduce feeding frequency as chicks grow older, eventually transitioning to fewer hand-feedings and more self-feeding.
